Hi! My name is Erin. I am 28 years old. I have a learning disability, but I’m high functioning. I am from Whidbey Island, Washington. I grew up on an organic farm with my mom, dad, and my younger brother Gavin. I currently live in Leavenworth, Washington, at an adult family home called the Coyote House. I love animals so much. That is why I entered in this contest while I was attending TRAILS Day Program at Tierra Village. Why I love no-kill animal shelters is because they keep dogs alive so that people can adopt them. I love dogs a lot, and someday, when I have my own place, I would love to adopt a puppy from an animal shelter (rather than buying one from a breeder). I am happy to show my love of art and animals with a wider audience.
