Sarah was born October 9, 2000 in Plano, Texas. Her family experienced the great loss of her sister Ashley in 1994 and they prayed about Sarah. They knew she would be born with Down syndrome but, they also knew the greatest loss was not having a child to love. Sarah was the blessing her Mom, Dad, brother Andrew and sister Alyssa needed to be complete. She is a 2020 high school graduate who had plans to attend college. Plans have changed for now and Sarah looks forward to what her future holds. She enjoys so many things! Art is just one of her joys that she’s been able to work on while being stuck at home. Lots of time on zoom sessions. She also enjoys modeling, acting, musical theatre, dance, music, all sports, hanging with friends and concerts. She’s looking forward to learning how to play golf this summer and searching for the perfect job. Down syndrome is only something Sarah was born with. Sarah is Sarah. She is a gift from God. She’s a beautiful, talented, brilliant, sassy and fun loving young woman. Sarah inspires each of us everyday
