Be Like Josh

March 30th – April 12th

The Be Like Josh foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to celebrating animals with special needs. Not only do they survive, but they thrive and inspire. Through our journey of saving these dogs, we are able to educate people and younger generations, about the beauty of special abilities.

Make Your Own Path

Renee is 20yrs old and lives in Australia. Renee was diagnosed with ASD (“moderate” functioning label) on her 17th birthday. She loves drawing, 3D modeling/printing, rock climbing and playing soccer. Renee’s favorite animals are dogs and goats. Her favorite thing in the whole world is her rescue pit-bull Buddy. “He’s basically my spirit animal”. Be Like Josh is personally relevant to me as my dog Buddy has some limb deformities and other health conditions. I chose to use randomly directional paw prints to, not only represent Josh and his condition, but also signify that it doesn’t matter HOW you get places in life. Make your own path. So what if it’s a little different to someone else’s?
