It is sad to announce this will be the Last Campaign from Paper Clouds Apparel. We have loved providing a platform for those with special needs to showcase their artistic talents. We will cherish the hundreds of artists with special needs that we have teamed up with. We will miss this more than words can express. Thank you to everyone who has every ordered one of our shirts. I love you all for allowing me to turn my dream into a reality and support the special needs community for over a decade.
For the last campaign we decided to give the last designs to four of the designs we added to our Classic’s section this year, and the last design is for an amazing young man who had a nasty fall and needs our support for his rehabilitation.
SUN- The Sun design was created by our friend Sean. Sean was born with Xia-Gibbs syndrome and has had to battle through numerous surgeries from birth. January 5th Sean had a fall down the stairs at his home that was catastrophic. Sean underwent multiple surgeries from the fall and then the blood clot that formed. Unfortunately Sean has a very long road of rehab ahead, and proceeds from every Sun design will go to helping this amazing young man.
SURFING LION- The Surfing Lion design was created by Sandra, a student at the Miami Learning Experience School. Sandra has a fraternal twin, Raquel (she designed a shirt in our last campaign, is on the autism spectrum and is nonverbal and communicates through pointing and gestures. Every Surfing Lion design sold benefits the Miami Learning Experience School.
KINDNESS ROCKS- The Kindness Rocks design was created by Ruby. Ruby was born with Down syndrome and is the inspiration behind the incredible nonprofit Ruby’s Rainbow. Ruby’s Rainbow grants scholarships to students with Down syndrome for higher education. Ruby has helped so many individuals further their education and follow their dreams. Every Kindness Rock’s design sold will help more students further their education.
FLUFFY MAN- The Fluffy Man design was created by Ethan. Ethan, diagnosed with autism and apraxia, is nonverbal and uses his iPad to communicate. Ethan has such a great spirit and loves drawing and hanging out with his cats. Proceeds from Fluffy Man items will benefit the Autism Alliance of Northeastern New York (AANENY). The mission of the AANENY is to enhance the lives of individuals with autism and their families in
Clinton, Franklin, and Essex County, NY.
COFFEE DRAGON- The Coffee Dragon design was created by Emma. Emma is one of the many employees with special needs who work at Spencer’s Place. Spencer’s Place was inspired, and named after, a young man with Down syndrome and is focused on creating jobs for the special needs community. Emma loves her job and she loves driving dragons. PCA has been lucky enough to feature a couple of Emma’s dragon designs. Every Coffee Dragon item sold will support the amazing work done at Spencer’s Place
