Each design from the different artists represent a different cause. Meet the artists below and the causes their designs benefit.
Hi. My name is Tinie Rader. I am an Artist at Soaring Arts Studio. I like working at the Studio, because I like being around my friends, and art makes me feel good. While at the Studio, I like to explore different types of art and challenge myself to create new things. I enjoy drawing. Currently I am really interested in drawing horses, hearts and crosses, but I also enjoy painting, doing acrylic pours, mixed media art, and
creating memorial pieces. When I’m not at work, I like spending time with family, going to the Casino, listening to music, playing video games, and watching YouTube. When you view my art, I think that you will see a lot of different kinds of the things that I like.
Soaring Arts Studio is a vibrant and inspiring place where artists of all abilities are encouraged to explore their talents and express themselves through the arts!
Soaring Arts is a non-profit organization that gives over 40 Artists an outlet to create and express themselves, while learning valuable job skills and doing what they love! You’ll see the Artists work all over our community from city banners to art installations to the many many murals the Artists have been creating recently! Artists at the Studio often do both collaborative and individual work, depending on the projects at hand. This gives the Artists the opportunity to explore all mediums of art and continually expand on their abilities! Artists are also involved in all aspects of the Studio from creating art, taking commissions, exhibits, teaching community art classes, customer service, maintaining the website, photographing products, sales, production, and even shopkeeping. All proceeds from the work that is sold helps support the art program and compensate Artists in their individual professions.
Zachary is 26 years old and he lives with his parents in Garland. He has autism and expresses himself through his art work. He spends hours every day drawing his favorite characters such as Scooby Doo and Barney. He also has a very impressive DVD collection. He likes to go to the movies, go swimming, and go bowling with his friends. He is well known at the bowling alley for his impressive celebratory dances after rolling a strike! His signature dance involves high jumps, heel clicks, and a show stopping jumping toe touch! He also enjoys going to the zoo and taking pictures of wild animals. He normally comes home after a long day at the zoo to draw all of his favorite animals he saw that day. He has giant stacks of artwork that he keeps at home. His pictures are very special to him and kept very organized. You cannot look at them without his permission. Zachary plays on a special needs baseball team called the Buddy League and loves to hit home runs! Zachary’s smile will make your heart melt and his laugh is contagious. He has a winning personality and loves to be the center of every dance party!
Buddy League was founded in 2002. We provide sports opportunity for kids with special needs who are ordinarily excluded. Every child should have the opportunity to be inside the fence instead of watching from the outside.

Ayla is intellectually about 9-10 years old, has overcome seizures, and balance issues but has lifelong intellectual disabilities. She is unable to read or retain most things at school. She also is unable to speak clear sentences although she is able to speak short phrases and understands everything told to her. Ayla is a whiz at iPads, phones, and television remotes. Ayla loves to paint and we are amazed at the detail in her paintings and how fast she has improved.

The Autism Nation Thanks to the ongoing efforts of non-profits who have come before us, autism is more widely recognized and researched than ever before. But there’s more that can be done when it comes to a feeling of true acceptance and social inclusivity. We recognized the need for events where all families can feel safe and supported, so they can make memories and have FUN together too… that’s how The Autism Nation, was born! Our events are a “judge-free zone” and open to everyone. Whether you have special needs or love someone with special needs we want everyone to feel seen, included, and accepted. Everyone deserves to have fun!
That’s our mission here at The Autism Nation, and it’s at the heart of what we do. Founded by families with special needs for families with special needs. Our volunteer-based staff hosts truly magical, family-friendly events that are safe, welcoming, fun; and most of all, memory-making for everyone touched by special needs. Because in the end, what’s more important than that? The Autism Nation is the non-profit arm of Arizona Autism
