Reese

Reese is a spunky and resilient young girl, born in September of 2011, who surprised her family with a diagnosis of Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. After undergoing open heart surgery at Children’s Mercy Hospital in 2012, Reese received weekly therapy and showed an early affinity for sign language. Reese just graduated from first grade and loves dancing, gymnastics, animals, and filming makeup tutorials. Along with her sister Reagan, Reese collaborated on a fun project to support the animal therapy program at CMH as a way of giving back to the hospital that helped save her life.
