The Love Is Blind design features the word love brailled, with the “O” replaced by a heart. The braille was created by Daxx, who is living with Juvenile Batten disease.
Batten disease is a rare inherited neurodegenerative disorder that affects the central nervous system and can lead to vision loss, seizures, cognitive decline, and loss of motor skills. There is currently no cure.
This design was originally created to raise awareness for blindness and accessibility and continues to support research through the Batten Disease Support, Research, and Advocacy Foundation.
50% of profits from this hoodie are donated to help fund research grants, family support programs, and advocacy efforts.
