The Artist: David
David (27) brings joy everywhere he goes! He was born with Down syndrome and his early years were filled with a life-threatening illness that had him visiting all the “...ologists” for years along with more than a few hospital visits. Thankfully, he is now mostly healthy and always up for fun. He swims competitively and is back in the pool after isolating for most of 2020. His favorite meet was in Puerto Rico with the Special Olympics. He loves being with family and friends, music/dancing, reading, basketball and watching movies. His sister encouraged him on his various Art projects. David is the ultimate encourager, ALWAYS brightens our days, and reminds us of what is truly important. He enjoys the Adult Program at his school where he has opportunities to be involved in continuing education, job training and many social activities.
